Help us make
Princeton Inclusive Playground
a reality!

The Primary and Intermediate Schools in Princeton, MN are working to update their playgrounds with the goal of creating an inclusive and accessible recess environment for all students.

Why

WHY

The current playgrounds are not accessible.  Children who use wheelchairs, walkers, or have difficulty with mobility are not able to move across wood chips or access the current equipment.  Adding accessible playground elements is crucial for ensuring that children of all abilities can play together.  A universally designed recess environment will benefit all children.

DETAILS

The goal is to add two wheelchair accessible ride on pieces of equipment, two musical elements, communication board, fencing, and poured in place paths to access the equipment on each playground.  Also planning to add a pathway to access the school forest.
